Trash and Recycling
Many residents of MV have used the services of the Etowah Lions Services, Inc. for their curbside residential refuse and recycling pickup. Effective July 1, 2024 Maybin’s Trash Service assumed the trash service of all Etowah Lions Services customers. Maybin’s will pick up trash every Tuesday and recycling every other Tuesday. There are residents that don’t use curbside and they take their own trash and recycling to the Henderson County Convenience Center.
Sewer
If your house has sewer service, you will be charged monthly by A&D Water Service, Inc, 46 Colwell Dr, Brevard, NC 28712, (828) 884-9772 (payments to P.O. Box 1407, Pisgah Forest NC 28768). The cost is approximately $41.45 per month (as of April 2024). The rates are regulated by the NC Utilities Commission.
